had daily routines that governed their habits. The next Medieval Faire will be
held January 13, 14, 20, and 21 in the year two thousand and seven. This
promises to be a fun-filled event if you are in town with a Florida Van Rental

Huzzah!
Medieval times, or the Middle Ages, is a very broad period of time between
Antiquity (up to the fall of the Roman Empire) to Modern Times (beginning around
the Protestant Reformation).
Many Medieval fairs focus a lot on the culture that was present during this
time. When you visit with your Florida Van Rental and car rental, you will find
people dressed in costumes and selling goods similar to what would be sold in a
Medieval marketplace. For example, you will find clothing, jewelry, weapons
(small swords), food, and candles.
Some historians refer to the early Medieval period as "the dark ages" because
there is not a lot of information left from the period. The barbarians who
invaded Western Europe did not have the ability to read and write, so their
traditions were in oral history. Some of this oral history is passed down
through the people who are interested in this part of history, and can be
learned when you visit with your Florida Van Rental and car rental.
Governance was another important factor. The large government of Rome was
replaced with the feudal system. In this system of government, every person who
rented land owed their landlord labor and military service. Small land owners
had overlords, all the way up to the king. The king owned all the land in his
kingdom, so he always had a supply of food and soldiers.
The feudal system was particularly important because the community revolved
around agriculture.
Fairs were an important part of the Middle Ages because it provided a place
for people to come together to trade. It began with religious ideas, but then
moved to raw and manufactured goods at the international level. These fairs
would travel through the countryside, bringing exotic goods to people throughout
the country. The largest of these fairs was held in Champagne, France. People
from as far as Scotland and Egypt would come to sell their items and pick up new
ones.

and car rental, you may have a few new souvenirs as well!
